Notice and Takedown Procedure

ClipVault respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using our Platform.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on ClipVault infringes your copyright, please submit a written notification to our Designated DMCA Agent containing:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL(s) where the material appears on the Platform
  4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your judicial district and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original complaint

Repeat Infringer Policy

ClipVault maintains a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers. We track all DMCA complaints received and will disable accounts of users who receive multiple valid takedown notices.

Good Faith Warning

Please be aware that under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
